Jose-Lorenzo Maldonado is a multifaceted producer whose career has spanned television, film, digital and educational platforms. He currently provides production consultation services which include production supervision, management, budgeting, scheduling, logistics, staffing/recruiting, talent acquisition/retention, script analysis, animation, post-production, VFX, editing, and music videos.

He was instrumental in the initial studio build out, launch, and production of Stephen Colbert's Our Cartoon President which aired on Showtime for 3 seasons. He also produced The Adventures of Swamp Turtle, Amy McGrath’s animated senate race campaign for Putnam Partners LLC. Before that Jose worked in production on a variety of animated series for Comedy Central and FXX Network for studios such as Bento Box Entertainment and Fox Animation Domination Hi-Def. As a freelance producer, he has successfully worked on a variety of digital shorts such as TeachMeTV's Who You’re Meant To Be (recipient of a 2021 Bronze Telly Award) and The Knowledge Project’s Journey of a Water Molecule (recipient of the 2012 ASIFA East award for Educational Short).
Additionally, Jose has worked on two feature length films. He was a Unit Production Manager on the Comedy Central made-for-tv movie Washingtonia, which had the distinct characteristic of being one of the most-quickly produced animated features ever, entirely by a remote team. Then, he was Line Producer and Picture Editor on the raucous live-action indie comedy feature #TheTea (currently in post-production).
Recently, Jose had expanded his capabilities across industries into Talk Radio & Podcasting as a Producer for Hot 702.5 FM’s weekly program Showtime with Jordan von Haslow & Friends. The hour-long interview show had featured a myriad of creative professionals from Musicians, Actors, Writers, Camera Operators, Make Up & Hair Stylists, and Editors among others. High profile guests have included Sue Ann Carwell, Maxine Jones, Dean Butler, Roslyn Kind, Janine Fatone, Ruta Lee, and John Barbour.
Jose is currently exploring further production opportunities in live-action, radio, children's media, music videos, and events.
