Jose was first hired as one of six animators to facilitate a 2-day animation workshop for 200 middle school students in the Bronx. Five years later, I recruited him to draft a syllabus tied to the DOE arts and literacy curriculum and head up a Visual Media program for high school students which was popular with the students and successful meeting set goals. He also co-developed TKP's Animation Studio, a career development program in animation and media for young, aspiring NYC artists.
